Invited speaker @ Cuidados a Prestar na Demência

Tiago Guerreiro is an invited speaker at the Cuidados a Prestar na Demência, a national meeting for professionals working with people with dementia, organized by Cuidar Melhor project. His talk is about technology at the service of people with dementia and their caregivers. The conference will be held on November 26th at the Auditório Casa das Histórias - Paula Rego.

LaSIGE participation @ SciTecIN'15

LaSIGE researchers are currently participating, with two full papers and one poster, at SciTecIN'15 - Sciences and Technologies of Interaction Conference that is happening at the University of Coimbra, from November 12th to 13th. The SciTecIN'15, is the junction of the events "Encontro Português de Computação Gráfica e Interação 2015" and "Video Jogos 2015".

Immersive Media Experiences 2015 next Friday, October 30th

The Immersive Media Experiences 2015 workshop takes place next Friday, October 30th, in Brisbane, Australia, in the context of the international conference ACM Multimedia 2015.
This international workshop was created by the chairs, from LaSIGE @ULisboa (Teresa Chambel), INESC-TEC, UTAustin, MIT Media Lab and BBC, at the premier international conference on multimedia: ACM Multimedia.

New European project: PersonAAL

The new LaSIGE European project PersonAAL, Personalized web applications to improve quality of life and remote care for older adults, had his kick-off meeting this month from October 15 to 16, 2015.
The project is co-funded by the Active and Assisted Living Joint Program (AAL JP), a research programme promoted by the European Commission, and by several national institutes from the participating countries.
