Fernando Ramos was invited to deliver a keynote speech at IEEE/IFIP DISSECT 2017 - 3rd IEEE/IFIP Workshop on Security for Emerging Distributed Network Technologies, that will take place next May 12th, 2017, in Lisbon, Portugal.

The speech will be about Sirius, a network virtualization platform that addresses security and dependability limitations of multi-tenant network virtualization platforms, by creating the abstraction of user-centric clouds.

DISSECT workshop, is co-located with IEEE/IFIP IM 2017 - 15th IEEE/IFIP International Symposium on Integrated Network Management, and this year edition will follow the track of its two previous editions, by putting in focus security issues and challenges arising with the emergence of novel networking technologies and paradigms, towards a secure and integrated management in the cloud and 5G era. The workshop will shed light on new challenges and present state-of-the-art research on the various security aspects of next-generation networking technologies and service management frameworks.
